Paola K. Cardona
is a certified Upeksha Yoga teacher with a Minor in Theater Dance Performance Studies from UCB. She's been dancing since the age of 5, and competitively for 10 years. Exploring various dance forms such as ballet, jazz, tap, west African, Brazilian, capoeira, Hawaiian, yoga dance, various Latin beats, and several modern dance styles and techniques such as contact improvisation, Lester Horton, Martha Grahm, and Merce Cunningham.  Paola creates a joyful comfortable atmosphere for students with a revitalizing and mindful flow of movement. She's not your typical dance instructor. For her, dancing is about more than just doing steps.  She incorporates a holistic approach to dance, bringing together a balance of body, mind, and spirit with yoga.

Simona Balan is a certified Upeksha yoga instructor with a life-long passion for dance. She was first introduced to the somatic arts as a ballet student in kindergarten and since then has explored many different movement modalities, including: yoga, martial arts, belly dancing, blues dancing, breakdance, contact improv and yoga dance.  Simona is a truly inspirational teacher, able to weave a vibrant presence and feminine strength with a deep understanding of yoga philosophy into her classes.  She holds space for people to connect to their higher selves and bring out the inner beauty and freedom of expression.
